Newton Baroque presents The Other Pachelbel

Newton Baroque presents Scordatura Sonatas for Two Violins from Johann Pachelbel’s Musikalische Ergötzung.

This concert features astonishingly vibrant and expressive sonatas from Pachelbel’s richest published chamber collection, Musikalische Ergötzung—works that rival even Biber. Susanna Ogata and Jesse Irons will reveal how much more there is to Pachelbel than the Canon.

Susanna Ogata, Jesse Irons - violin, Andrus Madsen - keyboard
