Help us pick up litter to beautify Newport and raise funds for the Clifton and West Newport neighborhood groups through Campbell County.
Meet us at Wooden Cask at 629 York St. at 9am for instructions, to pick your route, and grab litter pickup supplies! Meet back at Wooden Cask at 11am to celebrate with your friends!
FAQ
- what do I wear?
Dress for the weather! You’ll be working outside and should be comfortable bending and walking.
- what should I bring?
Supplies like gloves and bags will be provided. Bring drinking water and a light bag or backpack to carry extra bags on your route.
- who can come?
Bring your friends and family! Children must be over the age of 11 to participate. Children ages 12-18 need at least 1 adult supervisor for every 4 children.
- why participate?
The Clifton and West Newport neighborhood groups organize this event as a fundraiser with Campbell County. Volunteering to clean the community is great exercise, builds volunteer skills, and helps make a difference.
