Newport Food Festival Supper

Join us for a unique and celebratory evening at the Newport Food Festival Supper! Indulge in a variety of mouth-watering dishes and discover the vibrant food scene of Newport. This event will take place on Friday 11 October 2024 at 7pm.

Located at NP20 Bar and Kitchen, Mercure Hotel, Upper Dock Street, Newport, NP20 1DW, this special evening offers a unique opportunity to savour culinary delights from the talented Newport food festival patron and Michelin star chef, Hywel Jones.

A drinks reception will take place between 7pm and 7:30pm downstairs in the Mercure Hotel which is accessible off the reception area. During the drinks reception, Gwenan Dickenson, a harpist from Gwent Music will provide the musical entertainment.

Each guest will receive a welcome cocktail or mocktail which will be handcrafted by the award-winning Spirit of Wales – gift sets will be available to purchase on the night. To accompany this, guests will also indulge in a sample of Welsh cakes which will be freshly made by The Rogue Welsh Cake Company. Guest will then make their way to the restaurant area at 7:30pm where you will be joined by Sian Roberts from Loving Welsh Food who will host the evening.

Bring your friends and family along to enjoy a memorable evening filled with great food. You will also be joined by the sensational Jack Perrett for live music throughout the evening as Newport launches into this year’s Food Festival weekend!

A silent auction will be held for the Mayor of Newport's charities – Sparkle and The Severn Area Rescue Association (SARA). Please note that payments will need to be made on the night. Cash and card will only be accepted.

A specially designed three course meal and half a bottle of wine is included in the price.

A vegan option of the set menu can be requested at the checkout, if required. Please specify if any guests have any other allergies or dietary requirements in the order form at the checkout.
