Newport Indivisible will be hosting a No Kings - Vote Early rally at our usual location of PCH and Jamboree and our usual time Saturday, October 17 from 10-12. Parking is available on Bonnie Doone inside Irvine Terrace. There is a map to the parking location on our web site here.
We hope everyone can join us to help organize voting to help us take back the house and senate and begin to put some limits on this authoritarian regime before we throw them out for good in 2028.
No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters.
A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
Accessibility
Mainly flat ground
Notes from the organizer: The event will be held on sidewalks. Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis so people needing to park close to the event should arrive early or have someone drop them off near the gate at 1000 Bonnie Doone. You can also Uber or take public transportation as there are two bus stops within steps of our event though service on Saturdays is limited. Please note that there are no restrooms near the event.
