Every year, one student, one faculty, and one staff member are awarded for embodying Dr. King's principles of service, justice, and equality, recognizing impactful contributions through leadership, community-building, and commitment to inclusivity within the Newman community.
In 2025, recipients included Travia Smith (student), Tim Cho (faculty), and James Sanny (staff).
