NEWLY ADDED! Our other Kindness, Friendship, & Horses program for ages 7-10 is full, so we added another one!Reinbows’ Kindness, Friendship, & Horses is a four-day program that teaches kids how to be their own best friend so they can be a friend to others.
All our programs teach kindness, happiness, and set kids up to succeed!
Our gentle Norwegian Fjord horses bring participants joy and happiness by spending time together. During this time the horses are used to reinforce the topics of the day.
Reinbows’ staff are trained in horsemanship and safety is our top priority in all Reinbows’ programs. Horse activities include grooming, leading, riding with a leader, fun games, and positive horse interactions!
Participants not only get a sense of accomplishment from working with the horses, but also from completing fun projects and learning skills such as gardening, painting, carpentry, and pottery.
The goal of Kindness, Friendship, & Horses is for each participant is to leave Reinbows with more self-esteem, social awareness, and the ability to be kind to themselves and to others!
Example Topics Include:
• Confidence & Self-esteem
• Active Listening Skills
• Ways to be Kind to Yourself and in Return Others
• Empathy towards Animals & People
• Taking Turns & Sharing with Others
• Social Awareness
• Impulse Control when you don’t get your way
• What makes a Good Friend and how you can be one
July 22nd – July 31st, Mondays & Wednesdays, 9:30a-1:00p
