We’re excited to share that we’ve officially confirmed with the Chester L. Davis Sportsplex, and we’re back in action on Saturday, September 19th ~right in the heart of Recovery Month!
YOU’RE INVITED!3rd Annual Recovery Picnic & Volleyball Tournament ~ Sober Living Style.
After kicking off Recovery Month with the Big Texas Recovery Rally Galveston County on August 28th & 29th, we’re keeping the momentum going with this powerful day of community, connection, and celebration!
Location: Chester L. Davis Sportsplex (Soccer Field, Volleyball Sand Pits & Blue Pavilion)Date: Saturday, September 19th
Time: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
If you registered for the original May 2nd date, your registration is still valid! The link is still open, and we still have room for more teams to register.
Team Registration: Sober Team check-in is 10:50 am. Limited to 18 sober teams (Team captains register your team ~ all other team members and attendees register separately).
The ROSC of Galveston County, Spike Electric, and Sharpen Recovery are your hosts for this event.
We are excited to present the 2026 3rd Annual Recovery Picnic and Volleyball Tournament ~ Sober Living Style!
Captains ONLY should register one team to participate. Seven players per team. Sober Team check-in at 10:50 before opening prayer.
Please sign up under general admission team members and all other attendees, even if you are not playing volleyball, FOR AN ACCURATE HEADCOUNT. ATTENDANCE IS FREE. Check in and get a bracelet at our registration table.
Enjoy live music, a main speaker to be announced, talks from Drug Court Alumni, free food, and plenty of fun and fellowship—all packed into one amazing day at Chester L. Davis Sportsplex located at 1251 W League City Parkway, League City, Texas 77573.
We will remain in the area we designated for this gathering. The SOCCER field (live music, tents, and chairs), the blue pavilion, (we will share the bathroom with others) and the volleyball sand pit area.
Whether you’re spiking balls on the sand, playing cornhole, enjoying yard games, listening to the Dynamic Speakers or Live music, or just soaking in the positive vibes ~ there’s a place for you here. This year, the tournament will be open to additional homes or sober partners, and sober communities.
CAPTAINS, PLEASE GET YOUR PLAYERS TO SIGN UP UNDER GENERAL ADMISSION FOR AN ACCURATE HEADCOUNT.
Sober teams must sign up for the tournament by May 2nd, and ONLY 18 TEAM CAPTAINS MAXIMUM will be accepted to sign up their teams in this SINGLE ELIMINATION TOURNAMENT. This is going to be an epic event!
Attendees are encouraged to bring picnic items, drinks, potluck foods, and chairs if able, as this is expected to be a large gathering.

BRING YOUR RECOVERY SPIRITUAL PRINCIPLES. WE PLAN TO LEAVE THE PARK BETTER THAN WE FOUND IT AND FOLLOW ALL PARK RULES.

We are required to have security present for this event, and if you choose to engage in such behavior, you will be asked to leave by a law enforcement officer.
