You’re in the right place.Newcomers United is a welcoming group created by United Way of Horry County for people who are ready to get involved—whether you’ve recently relocated to the Grand Strand or are simply looking for new ways to engage with your community.
This program offers a friendly starting point for those who want to meet others, understand local challenges, and contribute their time, skills, or resources.
We meet monthly, every 2nd Friday! Meeting locations and dates are as follows:
*Friday, January 9, 2026 – 12:00 to 1:00 PM

*Friday, February 13, 2026 – 12:00 to 1:00 PM
--A Cup Full Cafe (1022 3rd Ave, Conway, SC 29526)
*Friday, March 13, 2026 – 12:00 to 1:00 PM
--Beach Hippie Cafe (5311 N Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577)
