Newcomer Creative Exchange: Open Mic Night

BAO’s Newcomer Creative Exchange series has been developed to create a space for Brampton-based newcomer creatives to gather, network, create, and learn together in a welcoming and supportive environment.

For our fourth Newcomer Creative Exchange session, please join us for an evening of open mic performances in a supportive community environment.

Whether you want to do comedy, poetry, singing, music, magic, spoken word, a theatrical monologue or any other kind of performance that you can think of, this open mic will give you the ideal supportive outlet to do so. Local Brampton comedian Sunny Deewana will host the open mic.

We'll also have food and drinks available throughout the event, giving you the chance to meet all the other participants and make new friends and potential collaborators.

The session is completely free.

Transportation: We can provide all-ages Brampton Transit Tickets free of charge to those who need them for all BAO in-person events. If you would like to pick up a ticket for yourself and others attending with you, please email [email protected] prior to the event and we will have them available for you onsite. Tickets work for both Brampton Transit and Züm buses.
