Got old and unwanted household chemicals and tricky waste lying around? Bring them to your next Household Chemical CleanOut event, and we'll take care of recycling them safely and for free! The NSW Environment Protection Authority is hosting an event in your area.
Here’s what you need know before you come by:
- Pop all your items in the boot of your car.
- Stay inside your vehicle at all times.
- Our friendly contractors, equipped with personal protective gear, will handle everything from there.
Wondering what you can bring? We accept the following household items:
- Paint, strippers, and varnishes
- Pesticides, herbicides, and poisons
- Solvents and household cleaners
- Motor oils, fuels, and fluids
- Household and car batteries
- Vapes
- Fire extinguishers
- Gas bottles
- Pool and hobby chemicals
- Fluorescent globes and tubes
Each resident can drop off up to 20L or 20KGs per item and up to 100L of paint.
