Newburgh Open Studios is a FREE, walkable, self-guided tour of Newburgh’s dynamic arts community opening the doors of artists’ work studios, alternative gallery spaces, outdoor public art, and pop-up shows of over one hundred participating artists.
The tour starts at the art store!
Pick up you free tour map at the Newburgh Art Supply at 5 Grand Street at 10am on Saturday and Sunday, September 26th and 27th 2026. Tour hours are noon - 6pm, both days.
A diverse selection of styles and artistic disciplines, from avantgarde video, photography, sculpture, performance art, printmaking, and traditional oil painting. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to meet and talk with emerging and established artists and craftspeople in spaces rarely open to the public.
Much of the self-guided tour is ‘walkable’ and includes Bank Arts (formerly Karpeles Museum), Umbra Suites (formerly Regal Bag), Atlas Studios, The Foundry, Ann Street Studios, Holland Tunnel Revisited, Newburgh Mercantile, Ann Street Gallery, ADS Warehouse, Grit Works Gallery, Chapman Steamer Arts, and other galleries and institutions, as well as live/work studios in the Historic District.
Newburgh Open Studios is organized by founder, Michael Gabor, owner of Newburgh Art Supply, and a team of volunteers and is dedicated to co-founder Gerardo Castro who passed away in 2024.
