Not ready to join a course of sessions yet?Perhaps your baby is very young and you aren’t quite ready for a regular group yet? Or maybe you’re still recovering from birth or can’t get around by yourself yet so would prefer to come and learn baby massage and our newborn nurture tips with a partner instead of coming separately to the Mum/Dad courses.
Our Newborn Nurture Workshop is designed to give you all the most useful parts of the course, condensed into an afternoon workshop. It’s suitable for both parents* to attend, and it includes;
~ A gentle introduction to some baby massage techniques that can be used from birth, especially focusing on moves for digestion/wind and thinking about bonding
~ A fit check of your sling or carrier, or if you don’t have one; you will get the opportunity to try a stretchy wrap with support and even take it home for 2 weeks to try out in real life situations (setting up a free account with the sling library is required for this option)
~Tummy Time ideas
~ Sleep expectations and reality; understanding how baby sleep changes in the first 6 months
~ Feeding support also available
*Or one parent and another support person would also be totally okay
