Newark Jazz Presents: Live at the Town Hall with JAZZ OF DISNEY

For the fourth Newark Jazz live event, we're delighted to present the band behind the best jazz club outside of London: The Peggy's Skylight House Band as they present a musical deep dive into the rich vaults of jazz music assosicated with Disney.

The love affair between Disney and jazz is well documented, and there is a long history of jazz musicians borrowing repertoire from the movies. Inspired by Dave Brubeck’s classic Dave Digs Disney album, this show reimagines the beloved songs of Disney through the lens of live jazz.

Join us for an evening of vocal and instrumental renditions of timeless favourites, including He’s a Tramp, Ev’rybody Wants to be a Cat, Alice in Wonderland & You’ve Got A Friend in Me.
