Charlie Parker transformed jazz music with his groundbreaking ‘bebop’ style. This dynamic quartet celebrates Parker’s legacy, featuring iconic compositions including Yardbird Suite, Anthropology, and Moose The Mooche.
Fronting the band is the internationally acclaimed Alan Barnes, one of the UK’s most celebrated jazz saxophone virtuosos, known for his dazzling technique, expressive playing, and infectious musical humour.
Barnes plays music that was radical 50 years ago but he infuses it with so much passion and energy you could believe it was minted on the spot, which is always part of the story with jazz - The Guardian
