New Year’s Ball Drop & Fireworks Event on New Year’s Eve in Downtown Owosso, MI

Join us for Shiawassee County’s premier New Year’s Eve celebration in the heart of historic Downtown Owosso! As the county’s only public ball drop event this spectacular celebration draws festive crowds from across the region to ring in 2025. The night kicks off with DJ Andy Genovese energizing the crowd with live entertainment. Stay cozy at our strategically placed warming stations and gather around public fire pits where you can roast marshmallows and share stories with friends and neighbors. Thanks to Owosso’s special social district designation adults can freely explore the downtown shopping area with alcoholic beverages in hand until 10 pm making it perfect for a memorable bar hop through the historic district. Each venue offers its own unique atmosphere and special New Year’s Eve celebrations all while preserving the charm of Downtown Owosso’s historic architecture. The ball drop at midnight will be followed immediately by a dazzling fireworks display that lights up the winter sky.
