Jason Jamerson was voted Metro Times Best Comedian in Detroit and was winner of the Cleveland Comedy Open. He produced his 2016 show entitled This Should Be A Comedy Special, which has become an annual staple for the metro Detroit comedy scene ever since. He has shared stages with the likes of Michael Rappaport, Chris Redd, Tony Baker, Mark Curry, Carl Payne, Brandon T. Jackson, Tony Roberts, Finesse Mitchell and many more. A Detroit-native comedian, actor, writer, host and producer, Jason began by finding the courage to perform on multiple stages across the Metro Detroit area. In doing so, he discovered his voice, deepened his respect for the craft and embraced the humility instilled by his mentors. With a style that blends sharp wit, storytelling, and an unmistakable Detroit edge, Jason brings honesty and charisma to every stage. His comedy draws from real-life experiences, community pride, and a deep appreciation for the people who shaped him.
