Get ready Canberra – it’s time to welcome 2025 with a spectacular New Year’s Eve celebration on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin. ✨🎉Pack a picnic or grab a bite to eat from the local food trucks at one of the four celebration hubs at Rond Terrace, Queen Elizabeth Terrace, on the lake shore at Regatta Point, and near Nerang Pool. 😊
Local DJs will provide entertainment from 6pm at each of the hubs, while a synchronised soundtrack powered by Mix 106.3 will accompany the two fireworks displays as they launch from Central Basin and off Commonwealth Bridge at 9pm and midnight. 🎶🎇
