Join us on Wednesday 31 December for the St Francis Socials New Year's Eve Ball as we give thanks for the blessings of 2025 and welcome in the New Year!Celebrate in style with our first formal themed event, with a black tie and ball gown dress code!
Discounted early bird $30 tickets available until 30 November, with $40 full price tickets on sale from 1 December.
Ticket price includes:
- 2 glasses of sparkling wine/soft drink (on arrival and at midnight)
- Canapés
- Called, progressive partnered dances
- All the usual St Francis Social classic tunes for jive and swing

What is the St Francis Social? Good tunes + good dancing + a good crowd + for a good cause... basically, just a really good night out!
Inspired by the Catholic parish dances held around Brisbane during the 1950s – 1970s (ask your parents/grandparents about them!), the St Francis Social is a good ol' fashion dance/social mixer for Catholics aged 18 – 39, with a bit of fundraising for thrown in for good measure. All profits from our Socials (including ticket sales, drink and snack purchases) are donated to a local Catholic charities and organisations doing amazing work in Brisbane.
