New Year, Same Me: Clothing Swap and Self Acceptance Exercise

Time and time again the new year is sold to us as a time to focus on changing ourselves and fixing what's wrong with us and our lives. This event encourages us to think differently and explore what is RIGHT with ourselves.

Come join us for a clothing swap and some self acceptance exercises to bring in the new year.

Bring in any clothes you'd like to swap. We will have a place to hang them and an area to try on anything that you're interested in. Clothes, accessories, shoes, are all welcome!

Bring a journal (or there will be some available for purchase) to take part in some self-reflection regarding what you like about yourself and how to bring those qualities into 2026.

Then enjoy a meditation and some restorative poses, brought to you by Janae at The Gratitude Practice, to relax and let your intentions for the next year settle.

Lastly, you will be able to write your intention on seed paper and take home a pot and soil to plant and tend to your intentions for the next year.

We will have snacks available and items to purchase from Very Good Shop and Body Kind.
