Sound Healing & Yoga Dance Party - A New Moon Experience in Ottawa Sunday, January 18, 2026 | 4–8 PM
Hey my friends, I am delighted to invite you to our very first Yoga Dance party of the YEAR 2026. This is not a traditional yoga class, neither a traditional ecstatic dance session.
This is a new concept — a powerful blend of yoga, meditation, sound healing, chakra dance, and ecstatic dance, designed to flow as a mini-wellness-retreat and intended for deeply resetting your energy to ground you into a 2026 that feels clear, prosperous, and alive.
We chose this date because we wanted to happen during the first NEW MOON OF 2026 - a New Moon in Capricorn, perfect energy to release the old, get radically honest about what truly matters, and consciously step into your next chapter.
✨ What Makes This Event Different?
Instead of stretching and leaving… You’ll cleanse, move, feel, release, and celebrate — all in one immersive journey, we start with a very special 🌿 Opening Spiritual Cleansing Ceremony (Yoruba Ritual) so we can begin with a sacred energy clearing using: Essential oils, Sage, White flowers and Semi-precious stones
This ritual clears stagnant energy, emotional residue from 2025, and mental noise — creating space for new intentions to land and getting you ready for the rest of the journey.
🧘♀️ Yoga + Chakra Dance
As a Yoga Teacher, I have always felt inspired by flowing and the freedom of meditative dance. So in this event, we will guide you through a yoga flow blended with chakra dance, activating your energy center connected to new beginnings, manifestation, and self-trust. Expect grounding, movement, and embodied intention — not rigid poses with the amazing ethnic beats of DJ Ani. No dance experience needed as this class allows for very free and individual expressions.
It is unlike any other Yoga session you have attended before.
🌑 New Moon Meditation & Sound Healing
Sink into stillness with the sound of crystal bowls bowls and guided meditation, using the darkness of the New Moon as a mirror: What truly shines in your life when everything else goes quiet? In other words, count your blessings and create new ones for the year to come.

Set powerful intentions for 2026 with intuitive guidance and oracle cards — not from fear, but from clarity. Guided by intuitive card reader, Jocy Medina
🎶 Ecstatic Dance Celebration
We close with a high-vibe ecstatic dance journey, lead by afro-Cuban ethnic DJ Ani — move freely, release stress, reconnect to joy, and celebrate the energy you’re calling in. Bring your drums or musical instruments in case you feel guided to drum to the beautiful beats that will guide this session.
