NEXT Ensemble is proud to present NYNM 2026, an evening showcasing brand new solo piano compositions performed by acclaimed pianist Esther Ahn. Join us for a night of celebrating the creative voices of contemporary composers and the premiere of exciting new works for solo piano. Audience members will hear world premiere compositions by NEXT Collective composers including David Campbell, Clifford King, Igor Iachimciuc, and Brian Casper, alongside new works from national composers selected through our call for scores.
Lauded by the Boston Musical Intelligencer for her interpretive coherence and graceful realization, pianist Esther Jeehae Ahn has captivated international audiences with her rare blend of musical brilliance, sensitivity, and emotional depth. As an artist-teacher, her passion lies in nurturing individual expression, human compassion, and unique talents from all walks of life.
