New Year, New Miles (2027): Second Annual Morning Hike at First Landing 🥾🌅🆓 FREE Park Admission!
Let’s kick off the first day of 2027 with a refreshing 3–5 mile hike at First Landing State Park!
⚠️ COME EARLY! Parking can fill up fast — arriving early helps you park right next to the picnic shelter.
📍 Meeting Spot (Easy Directions):
After you enter the park, turn first right after the ranger entrance booth into the parking lot. Drive all the way until you see the bathroom building — the picnic shelter will be on the right side.
🕘 Meet Time: 9:00 AM (Friday)
☕️🍩 We’ll check in, mingle, and enjoy hot coffee + Dunkin’ Donuts before we hit the trail.
🥾 Hike Start Time: 9:30 AM
🆓 Perks:
✅ FREE park admission + FREE parking (Virginia State Parks “First Day Hikes”)
✅ You’ll get a First Day Hikes sticker! 🎟️✨
Start your year with fresh air, friendly faces, donuts 🍩, and beautiful trails — we’d love to see you there! 💛
