Our Learning Disability Nursing Team would like to welcome Deaf adults with learning disabilities to a session to help support your new year health goals.
The session will help you learn about the health problems associated with weight gain and how positive changes can lead a healthier lifestyle, including an interactive game around sugar content in food.
The session will be run by Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust's Community Learning Disability Nursing Team.
We will also have a nurse present who will communicate in British Sign Language (BSL) and two BSL interpreters.
