About this Event
New Volunteer Orientation
- Do you love rocks?
- Are you passionate about history, mining, and geology?
- Did you know that the Idaho Museum of Mining and Geology (IMMG) is 100% volunteer run?
Join us at the IMMG, 2455 Old Penitentiary Road on Saturday, February 28, at 1:00 PM for an exciting volunteering event just steps away from the Old Pen in East Boise. We need you!
As a volunteer, you will have the chance to interact with visitors, help in the Gift Shop, assist with educational programs, help maintain exhibits, and more. Whether you're a student looking for a valuable experience or an adult seeking to stay engaged, we welcome volunteers of all ages and backgrounds.
By joining our team, you'll not only gain valuable knowledge about mining and geology but also have the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who share your passion. Plus, volunteering at the museum is a great way to give back to the community and make a positive impact.
Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to be a part of the Idaho Museum of Mining and Geology. Mark your calendars and join us on Saturday, February 28, at 1 pm that will include a tour and refreshments. We can't wait to meet you!
Contact [email protected] if you have questions.
