Surprise! We're back at 9910 and kicking off 2025 with a Special Traditional Jazz Jam Night! 🥁🎹🎺🎻

After a short break for the holidays, we're excited to return with a twist to our regular Wednesday jams. For one night only, we're hosting a Traditional Jazz Jam to ring in the new year! That’s right . . . Standards! Swing! Tunes!

Here's what makes this night different:
🎶 Structured Ensemble Rotations: Instead of our usual open, fully improvised groove sessions, this jam will feature small groups coming together to play a couple of tunes from the jazz repertoire—think standards, bebop, or your favourite Afro-Cuban tunes.

Musicians will call tunes, set the vibe, and play a few selections before passing the torch to the next group. This is a great opportunity for folks It's a great opportunity to play with some new folks (especially those that are still in town just for the holiday’s), learn, connect, and stretch your chops in a more structured jazz format.

🎤 All Are Welcome: Whether you're a seasoned jazz player or just dipping your toes into the genre, this night is for you. Bring your instrument, your voice, or just your love for jazz!

Come experience the tradition, energy, and the joy of a classic jazz jam. We'll return to our free-flowing, groove-oriented sessions the following week—but for this special night, we're keeping it all about the tradition. See you there!
