We're about a month away from new volleyball season and GBVA skill building season!
On Friday September 18 we'll kick off with Basic Skills again. We just love teaching starting kids and help grow the local volleyball community!
On the more advanced front, we're starting the season with FAST FORWARD the ATTACK!
This advanced attacking skill development program dissects the many components of the volleyball attack. Crucial for any team! A BIG focus for many coaches pre-season!
Over the course of SIX 120 minute sessions (2 Fridays in September, 4 in October), we're taking attackers through all the spare parts to improve their spiking capabilities!
Ideal for athletes playing U15 and up! Please note: this is NOT a beginners program.
Each session will be divided in 2 parts, where the first hour is foundational skill work and second hour is devoted to performing the full skill. During the second portion we'll run attacks in all positions, set by REP Setters from U15, U16 and U17 teams (Setter Select).
The first session of this advanced attack program starts on September 18, and runs on Friday nights in the Midland Rec Centre Gym.
