New River State Park Clean Up – 221 Access

Please register for our New River Clean Up from Fulton Reeves Bridge to 221 River Access on Thursday June 18, 2026.
Please meet at New River State Park Rd, Laurel Springs, NC 28644, at 221 Access at 10:00 AM to set shuttle.
Spring into the New this June and join our clean stream team to help clean North America’s Oldest River.
The New River Conservancy will supply all tools and equipment for this clean up with additional support from our partners; NC State Parks, Keep Ashe Beautiful, NC Wildlife Federation’s High Country Wild Chapter and NC Works.
Dress to get dirty and bring plenty of water as well as a light lunch.
Please bring your own set of waders if you have them and wear layers you don’t mind getting dirty in.
