Please join us for a deep dive on the Jacobites, as we invite you to the launch of new books and a website, as well as the chance to participate in interactive workshops. On Friday, September 26th (12:30-3 PM), join us online or at the SFU Burnaby library for a presentation by Professor Leith Davis and her co-author Professor Kevin James (University of Guelph) about their new books. Then, hear from RAs about “The Lyon in Mourning” website.
This will be followed by refreshments and a performance by two-time Grand North American Fiddle Champion, Michael Burnyeat.
At 2 PM, you can participate in of our two workshops: "Writing with Quill Pens" or "Transcribing an 18th-Century Jacobite Manuscript". Space is limited.
