In its early years, the city of New Port Richey was slated to become the “Hollywood of the East,” attracting filmmakers and performers during its early years. In honor of that unique heritage, we are proud to announce the return of the New Port Richey Film Festival. Join us as we celebrate local talent and showcase a diverse selection of short films created by filmmakers from across our community.This year’s festival will feature entries in both youth and adult categories, highlighting emerging creators as well as more experienced storytellers. It is an opportunity to support the arts, discover new voices, and enjoy an afternoon of creativity on the big screen.
