A spearfishing competition for pairs, with a target shooting competition in a local pool as a backup plan in case of unsuitable spearfishing conditions. Prizes will be awarded to top teams. Species include Kingfish, Trevally, Blue Cod, Terakihi, Butterfish, Blue Moki, Kahawai, John Dory, Snapper, Crayfish, Gurnard, Butterfly Perch, Sweep, and Tuna. All fish must be over 450gms gilled and gutted, and presented in good condition, ideally iced. Scoring will be 100points per fish and 10 points per kilogram (or part thereof).
