The Elephant in the Room, by Helene Montagna, is an exploration of the unspoken truths we carry. At the center is Ellie, a seemingly innocent stuffed animal who becomes both a literal presence and a powerful metaphor, the elephant in the room. Through interconnected characters, the play confronts issues like adultery, depression, and body image with wit, honesty, and emotional depth. Ellie’s silent presence speaks volumes in a story where what’s unsaid matters most.
