New Parent Social (am & pm)
About this Event
Our New Parent socials are created for new parents with babies under 12 months (at the time of attending your first session) looking to spend some time at the zoo, learn more about the amazing work RZSS does here in Scotland and around the world, and build their community. The socials are aimed at parents and offer a friendly environment where everyone is welcome and all contributions are valued.
They are suitable for first-time visitors and for those who might not regularly come to the zoo, as well as people who have always loved visiting.
You will be able to book on for the three dates this Autumn:

October 18th
November 15th
The first part of the session is time for socialising, before taking part in an animal-themed activity. Each month will be a different topic and include lighthearted conversation and an engaging hands on activity.
We have both an AM session at 11am and a PM session at 13:30. The social is in the Education Centre and out around the zoo. When you arrive at the zoo, please enter through our main reception and head straight to Education.
The event is £15 per adult. The price covers the event, tea or coffee & a cake, plus entry to the zoo for the day! Please book one ticket for each person attending (you will not have to book a ticket for your baby). Spaces are limited, so we can offer a space for up to two adults and a baby. If you can no longer attend the event, please ensure you cancel your booking so that we can give tickets to other people.

*Please note these sessions are focused on adults. For sessions aimed at early years please see our Joeys, Roos and Big Roos programmes on Eventbrite, as these are for babies and toddlers.
