Join us on an otherworldly trip into the captivating and mysterious culture of New Orleans' Vampire and Voodoo legends. Enjoy delicious local cuisine as you make your way through the French Quarter.
Activity details:
In addition to hearing fascinating stories about our fearsome denizens of the night, your adventure features several mouthwatering dishes, all to die for! You will especially enjoy sinking your teeth into a vampire bat made of dark chocolate!
Highlights of the experience include learning about the "Casket Girls", reputed vampires from the early 1700's at the historic Ursuline Convent, as well as visiting a Voodoo Museum/Shop.
In addition to enjoying Duck and Andouille Gumbo at a famous French Quarter restaurant, you will love seeing the beautiful courtyard. Your guide will tell you of the ghostly encounters at the Petit Theatre, which is adjacent.
Guests will love seeing the stunning vampire decor while touring The Apothecary restaurant. A delicious baked Brie cheese dish will be served. Gifts, books and tarot readings are available.
If you choose the cocktail add on, you will enjoy a magical concoction named the Alchemists' Elixir at The Vampire's Apothecary. Watch as it changes colors right before your very eyes when the special Elixir is added.
Lucky you! Your second cocktail is served in a secret, password-only, private speakeasy! Shhhhhhh! Don't tell! You may select between an Absinthe cocktail or a devilishly delicious blood bag to quench your thirst!

*Guided tour of the French Quarter. You will see the historic Ursulines Convent and visit an authentic Voodoo store/museum.
*If the cocktail add on is chosen, two cocktails. One is at a private, password-only Speakeasy.

Adult beverages are available at every restaurant we visit. Guests may purchase them separately.
Itinerary
*Hear stories about our legendary Voodoo Queen, Marie laVeau and Papa Legba, the gatekeeper between the human and spirit worlds. Learn about Gris-Gris and Voodoo spells.
*Enjoy a delicious cup of Crawfish Etouffee or Jambalaya. (Dishes may vary).
*Your guide will tell you the legend of the Casket Girls, reputed vampires, at the historic Ursuline convent.
*Visit an authentic Voodoo shop/museum.
*Taste a cup of delicious Duck and Andouille Gumbo at a very upscale French Quarter restaurant. (Dish may vary.)
*Hear tales at the old Pharmacy, where blood was letting was common, and leeches were used as a healing tool.
*Enjoy a fabulous baked Brie cheese dish at the wonderful Vampire's Apothecary. Admire the vampire decor as you take a guided tour of the restaurant.
*If you choose the cocktail add on, you will enjoy the Alchemist's Elixir, an exotic cocktail that changes colors before your very eyes.
