Welcome to the New Orleans Memorial Stair Climb!
On Saturday, August 22, 2026, we will continue our tradition of remembering those that have gone before us. We will remember their sacrifice, their bravery, and their unwavering dedication to serve.
25 years ago, our country was changed forever on 9/11/01. Those of us who were old enough to remember, can tell you exactly what they were doing when they heard the news of what was happening in New York City.
Thousands of men, women, and children said goodbye to their loved ones not knowing it would be their last time. Countless first responders ran toward danger in a courageous effort to save lives.
We walk and climb annually to remember every aspect of that tragic day. Each step we take is a tribute to the firefighters, police officers, paramedics and civilians who lost their lives that day.
We are excited to put on another amazing event with new features and memories all to remember all of those who made the ultimate sacrifice 25 years ago. We will also pay tribute and recognize our local fallen heroes who have made the ultimate sacrifice since our conception.
Whether you're walking, climbing, cheering or simply showing your support, your presence makes a difference. We made a promise to NEVER FORGET these heroes and we will carry on the legacies to the newest generations.
