Join Sam Lingane for the next Newcomer/Novice Level workshop: Being Curious, Playful, and Communicative.
What happens when we stop focusing on the next pattern and start paying attention to the moment we're in?
In this workshop, we'll use West Coast Swing fundamentals to explore communication, creativity, and connection. We'll practice curiosity, patience, and reactivity with our partners to discover new movement possibilities together.
If you'd like to strengthen your partnering skills, become more confident in your own voice, react more naturally to your partner, or break free from feeling locked into patterns and shapes, come join me!
When: Sunday June 28th
Doops open at 11am
Workshop is from 11:30-1pm
Where: Seattle Line Dance Studio (WE HAVE AC and a PARKING LOT!!!)
945 Elliott Ave W Ste 202, Seattle, WA 98119
Cost: Sliding Scale (Pay what you can) $10-20
Keep an eye out for the New/Novice practice session immediately following where I will hold a practice, give the group topics to focus on as we rotate and practice them with our peers, and give you ideas to take home to practice solo as well as with your own practice groups you may already have, or ones you want to start.
