The Moon in November is also known as the Freezing Moon, (Mshkawji Giizis) in the Ojibwe nation. It is a time when the Star Nation is closest to us.
As every creature and earth being prepares for the coming fasting grounds, we are reminded to prepare ourselves for our spiritual path by learning the sacred teachings and songs that will sustain us.
The New Moon symbolises new beginnings and is the time to set your intentions for what you want to manifest in your life. The living energy at New Moon embodies a moment of power, giving you the opportunity to bring change and transformation into your life. Being in Ceremony is a way to do this, to sift through your thoughts and feelings, to clearly see your intentions.
