Then we will set intentions and experience a shamanic sound journey with guided meditation, where the soothing vibrations of sacred instruments will help you enter a deep, intuitive state. As you connect with the wisdom of your soul, you’ll open the door to clarity, insight, and renewal—aligning with the powerful energies of the new moon.

The New Moon symbolizes new beginnings, fresh starts, and setting intentions. It marks the start of the lunar cycle, making it a powerful time for planting seeds—both literally and metaphorically—and manifesting new goals, ideas, and transformations.

Amy Smithers is an intuitive Sound and Master Reiki Practitioner. In 2011, she embarked on a healing journey that began with meditation and yoga, eventually leading her to a transformative sound bath. It was here that she discovered her personal medicine, allowing her to release what no longer served her and reconnect with her authentic self. This journey led her to the Sound Healing Conservatory, where she became a certified sound healer. A true free spirit at heart, she embraces and stands for all people without judgment, finding great joy in creating space for others to do the same.

She is certified in multiple Reiki lineages, including Usui, Holy Fire, Raku Kei, Fairy, Karuna, and Shamanic techniques. With a B.S. in Psychology, she is also a certified Kundalini Yoga instructor. Her diverse passions as an artist and activist, combined with her life experiences as a veteran, military spouse, mother to three incredible adult children, and leader in various nonprofits, have taught her to honor every experience and embrace each season of life, holding space for both shadow and light. Serving the Hampton Roads area, you’ll most often find her in her hometown of Portsmouth, sharing love and healing.

We will have yoga mats, blankets, cushions and pillows for you to use. You are more than welcome to bring your own to meet your own desired comfort level.
