About this Event
Revitalize and regulate your body, mind, and spirit!
This new moon carries the precise alignment of a solar eclipse and begins 2026's first 'eclipse season' paired with a lunar eclipse on March 3rd.
New moons, in general, are fertile times to go inward and plant seeds of intentions. When we have a solar eclipse, the moon passes perfectly between the sun and Earth, and this alignment serves to amplify our intentions.
While this solar eclipse will not be visable in Colorado and will occur in the early morning of the 17th, it is an auspicious window of time to gift ourselves the opportunity to take a sacred pause and reflect on what we are calling in for our year, especially as we round the corner toward spring.
What a better place to take this pause than The StarHouse, a geometric temple built to serve as a sanctuary space for community to drop into deeper re-alignment with the Earth and her natural cycles.
With the support of the sweet heart-opening spirit of Cacao.
And the peaceful, diverse, and healing vibrations of sacred sound curated with deep attunement to your intentions and the energy of the group.
In a gentle, loving, present, and supportive community.
During this event, you will receive:
- Cacao Ceremony - Bring your intentions and your presence. We will imbibe in the sweet sacred medicina of Guatemalan cacao and allow ourselves a moment to attune to the energies of the new moon solar eclipse, and the turn of the season toward spring.
- Gentle Movement - Before lying down, we will be invited to participate in a few gentle Qigong movement and breathing practices to regulate and center our energy to be open to receiving as we transition into the sound journey.
- Sound Journey - Lie down, relax, breathe, and receive. Taragápe will create a live arc of diverse soundscapes utilizing instruments such as handpans, sound bowls, native flutes, kalimba, harmonium, drum, charango, guitar, voice, and chimes. This sonic meditation will allow you to have a relaxing contemplative journey in whatever ways serve your soul--creating space for deep regulation, self-reflection, and self-healing.
- Integration Circle - We will have the opportunity to share a little of what we experienced, what emerged, what we are carrying forth from the experience. This will be supported with light nourishment of fruit.
Bonus! Taragápe is releasing his next single, a beautiful and inspiring handpan track featuring guitar, sound bowls, and a relaxing creekside soundclip recorded in his hometown. As a celebration of this release, the track will be debuted at this event during the cacao ceremony!
