Why Cacao & the New Moon
This ceremony is designed with nervous system awareness and choice at its core. Ceremonial cacao is used in a gentle, supportive way to encourage presence and connection without forcing emotional release. The New Moon offers a naturally inward moment that supports rest, reflection, and intentional pacing rather than productivity or performance.
Throughout the experience, participants are invited to listen to their own bodies and honor personal boundaries. All practices, including meditation, journaling, sound, and rest, are offered as invitations rather than requirements. You are welcome to modify, pause, or opt out at any time.
By combining slow rhythm, grounding practices, and sensory support, this experience aims to create a sense of safety, agency, and regulation. Insight is allowed to arise organically through the body and nervous system, rather than through pressure or catharsis.
About the Facilitator
Emilee J. Kern is a Yoga Therapist, author, and oracle card creator. Her work centers on somatic awareness, nervous system regulation, and embodied autonomy. She currently resides in Golden, Colorado and is home in Wisconsin for a special in person offering.
