NEW Lost Pet & Resource Center Open House

We’ve been working behind the scenes on some exciting things, and we’re finally ready to welcome you inside! 🐾
Join the Humane Society of Scott County for an Open House at our NEW Lost Pet & Resource Center. Tour the space, learn how it will strengthen the way we care for animals and support the people who love them, and get a glimpse of what’s ahead for HSSC.
And the new building isn’t the only thing we’ll be unveiling 👀
We’ll also be sharing a fresh new look for HSSC that reflects who we are and where we’re headed. There will be merch to purchase on site so you can be one of the first supporting the new look, too. We can’t wait to celebrate it with you!
During your visit, you can:
🐾 Tour our new Lost Pet & Resource Center.
🐾 Learn about the spaces for animal intake, medical care, surgery, recovery, and reunification.
🐾 Hear about planned improvements to our current shelter, which will continue as our Adoption Center.
🐾 Find out how you can help support the work still ahead.
🐾 Be among the first to see our new logo and look that better represents the work we do.
This project is an investment in better care for animals, more efficient daily operations, and stronger resources for pets and families in our community. We’re proud of the progress so far and excited to share the next steps with you.
Whether you’ve adopted, fostered, volunteered, donated, shared our posts, or are just getting to know us, you’re invited. Bring a friend, take a look around, and help us celebrate!
