At NEW JOKE CITY, they’ll have to! This wild, high-energy show challenges stand-up comics to create jokes on the spot—no prewritten material, no safety net. Will they fail spectacularly or rise to the occasion? Either way, you’ll be laughing.

Expect a fast-paced, interactive night where audience participation fuels the comedy. You’ll toss out suggestions, themes, or words, and the comics will scramble to spin them into punchlines right before your eyes. It’s improv meets stand-up—fun, unpredictable, and totally unique.

Featuring comedians you’ve seen on TV, viral videos, and comedy festivals, plus up-and-coming talent from right here in the San Gabriel Valley. Catch hilarious performers from Pasadena, Alhambra, Monterey Park, El Monte, Temple City, Arcadia, Rosemead, and beyond.
