July 3-5, 2026 | New Hope, PA & Lambertville, NJ
Join the Greater New Hope Chamber of Commerce for an unforgettable three-day celebration of America's 250th birthday, spanning both sides of the Delaware River in the heart of two of the region's most historic towns!
From living history to live music, fireworks to freedom parades, this weekend is packed with something for everyone.

📅 FRIDAY, JULY 3
───────────────────────────────
The celebration kicks off with a full day of immersive history along the New Hope riverfront and Lambertville Station stages.
🏛️ Meet the Founders: Actors portraying George Washington, Ben Franklin, Admiral DeGrasse, General Knox, and Martha Washington bring the Revolution to life through educational discussions and Q&A sessions throughout the day.
💃 Roxey Ballet performs "NJ Ballad," a stunning re-enactment of Washington's Crossing and the road to victory at Trenton (2 shows: 3:45pm & 8:30pm).
🎶 Live music all day, including Music Mountain Theater performing "Stars & Stripes" patriotic favorites and the HopeWell Band.
📖 Author Abigale Readlinger discusses the founding of the Federalist Papers. Free copies of her book available!
🎇 At 9:00pm, the night ends with a spectacular show over the river: fireworks launched from two boats PLUS a 200-drone light show synchronized to patriotic music. Not to be missed!

🎸 SATURDAY, JULY 4 -- Independence Day!

The party moves to the New Hope American Legion parking lot for a full afternoon and evening of live music under a tent, with a revolutionary-themed cash bar and tavern atmosphere.
🎵 Lineup:
• DJ – 3:00pm
• Sam Ryan Band – 5:15pm
• Donna Summer Tribute (Rainere Martin) – 6:45pm
• ABBA Tribute Band – 7:45pm
🍺 July 4th Pub Crawl (2:00pm+): Sponsored by Revolutionary Crawls and Events, this ticketed crawl brings the Revolution to life! Join George Washington, Anna Strong, Samuel Adams, and a Continental Army soldier as they lead you from Lambertville Station, across the bridge, through New Hope, and into the tavern. SUNDAY, JULY 5 -- The Grand Finale

End the weekend in grand fashion with a morning full of ceremony, community, and pride.
🥁 10:00am: "Freedom Parade" beginning at the New Hope American Legion lot, crossing the bridge into Lambertville! Featuring Founding Fathers in full costume, fife and drum, the American Legion from both towns, Boy Scouts & Girl Scouts, the Tri-County Marching Band, and Eagle Fire Department's antique Mack Truck Engine.
🚣 11:30am: Relentless Dragon Boat Race under the river bridge, with teams representing America and Great Britain.
📜 Dramatic reading of the Declaration of Independence on both sides of the river, with Mayors and dignitaries sharing the honors.
🔔 12:00pm: Simultaneous Bell Ringing across both sides of the river marks the close of America's 250th Birthday weekend.
🎤 Singers from Playhouse and Music Mountain Theatre close the celebration with a rousing performance of "God Bless America" from both riverbanks.
