📍 New Hampshire State House
107 N. Main Street, Concord, NH
💜 Free and open to the public
International Overdose Awareness Day (IOAD) is the world's largest annual campaign to end overdose, remember without stigma those who have died, and acknowledge the grief of the family, friends, loved ones, and communities left behind.
For the third consecutive year, Community Action Partnership is proud to serve as the primary sponsor of New Hampshire's observance at the State House, bringing together community members, recovery organizations, healthcare providers, first responders, public safety partners, behavioral health providers, people with lived experience, and organizations from across New Hampshire.
💜 An Evening of Remembrance, Hope & Community
This is a space to remember.
It is a space to say their names.
It is a space for families and friends whose lives have been forever changed by overdose.
It is also a space to recognize recovery, challenge stigma, connect people with resources, and remind our neighbors living with substance use disorder that their lives have value and recovery is possible.
Throughout the evening, attendees will have opportunities for remembrance and reflection and to connect with organizations providing prevention, treatment, recovery, behavioral health, and other supportive services from across New Hampshire.
Everyone is welcome. Whether you have lost someone you love, are in recovery, are currently struggling, work in the field, serve your community, or simply want to stand beside your neighbors—you belong here.
There is no cost to attend, and no registration is required.
Please share this event and invite your friends, family, colleagues, and community partners.
We remember. We honor. We support. We refuse to let stigma have the last word.
