Improvised theatre is an expression of emotions and ideas without a script. In these workshops we’ll work on developing characters, the interactions between performers and creating scenes together. Improv is for everyone, it’s great for those without a theatre background and also those that do. Workshops are beginner friendly and people are encouraged to join at any time.
We’ll focus on the longform format – where a group of performers create comedic sketches based on suggestions from the audience. The objective of the workshops is to build the confidence and skills to make these scenes.
The workshops will be held in English, are open to all nationalities, for those who are 18 or older. The workshops are basically free! but for continued participation a small (100kr) membership to support the Immaturus theatre is required.
Workshops are on Thursdays 18:00-20:00 at Christies Gate 18 at the black box. If the outside door is locked, there is a window to the left into the practice room, indicate you’re here and someone will let you in :-)
