The magnitude of digital life has intensified, and teens are essentially living in real time with constantly evolving technologies. In most cases, the impacts of these technologies are still being researched. Join Jennifer Ehehalt, Sr. Education Manager at Common Sense Media as she showcases the all-new Digital Literacy and Well-Being Lessons for grades 9–12. (*Note- While the lessons are specific to grades 9-12, those who work with students in grades 6-8 may also find them applicable.)
This new lesson collection honors complexity, centers youth, builds agency, supports well-being, and strengthens essential human capacities. By implementing these lessons, educators can harness critical thinking, creativity, curiosity, and human connection in your classrooms.
Participants will dive into the following targeted pathways: Freshman Foundations, AI Literacy, Media Literacy, Financial Literacy, and Health and Wellness, and you will leave with actionable, real-world ideas on how to seamlessly incorporate these vital pathways into your classroom.
