Experience a sublime floating Sound Bath experience while being
gently cocooned in your silk aerial hammock !
You will be guided into a place of comfort (either sitting or lying down) in the hammock and then taken on an immersive sound journey in which a variety of soothing, therapeutic instruments are played to take you into a deep state of relaxation and and rest.
The feeling of being safely held by the silks is extreamly healing - especially for women who feel they are continually supporting others and need to take some time out to be supported themselves. Angie and Rachel offer a warm and safe space to gently let the cares of the everyday world melt away, allowing you to drift off into day dreams and a light hypogogic (meditative) sleep.
This is a powerful state of lower Alpha & Theta brainwaves proven to be extreamly relaxing and healing on all levels of your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. As you go deeper with the soothing sounds your body moves out of the hyper alert Sympathetic branch of the Autonomic Nervous System known as the ' Fight or Flight' response , and drifts into the Parasympathetic Nervous System state of 'Rest & Repair' or 'Rest & Digest'.
Blood pressure lowers, heart rate slows down and you become more heart centerd and in resonance with the frequencies of peace, joy and unconditional love. Your body - now thinking it is not under any immediate threat - has time to repair and redress anything that is out of balance. This may include the immune system, physical ailments or mental health imbalances.
You will float fully suspended for around 70 minutes before being gently guided back to full consciousness .
No experience needed.
There is no Yoga involved and Rachel with guide you in getting in and out of your silk hammocks as well as making sure she is always on hand during the sound bath for anything you may need
