Join the City of Northglenn for an in-person training on August 26, 2026, from 8:00–9:00 am at the City Hall Community Rooms. This session is designed for local designers and contractors working on projects in Northglenn and will provide an overview of the Metro Cohort Model Code (MCMC) - the state-approved, locally adopted version of the 2024 International Energy Code.
The training will cover:
- An overview of the MCMC and how it differs from the 2021 energy code, which Northglenn has been operating under up till now
- What to expect as the new code goes into effect, including key changes relevant to design and construction
- Timeline details - the new code takes effect on October 11, 2026, following a 90-day implementation period to give the industry time to get up to speed
This is a great opportunity to get ahead of the changes and ask questions before the new code takes effect.
Breakfast will be provided so come hungry and ready to dig into the details!
