On Thursday, August 27th, New Directions will be featured as the Charity of the Game during the Louisville Bats’ baseball game at Slugger Field.
In addition to raising awareness about the work we do, it’s also an opportunity to raise funds. For every ticket purchased from our dedicated purchase page, New Directions gets $4. We’ll also have a table on the concourse and a shout-out on the Jumbotron.
In addition to recognizing New Directions, the Bats will also be honoring the Louisville Black Caps, Louisville’s Negro League team from the 1930-1932.
