New Berlin Police Department Citizens Police Academy Fall Session

The New Berlin Police Department Citizens' Academy is a course designed to provide citizens with a better understanding of the operations of our police department. This will begin Tuesday Sept 8th and run every Tuesday night 6:00PM-8:30PM until Graduation on Nov 17th. The topics include: Tour of the PD, Patrol Procedures, Crime Scene Investigations, Use of Force Training, Firearms Training, K-9 Unit Demo, Municipal Court, OWI Workshop, Dispatch Center Tour, SWAT, and Patrol Ride-Along.
Who Can Attend?
-Minimum age of 18
-Live or Work in New Berlin
-No Felony Convictions (Pass background check)
-Commit to approx. 80% of activates.
