We are funk'in it up this year with 2 amazing funk bands.
8pm: A little local flavor from Joaquim and The Dope Lotus featuring Mario Corbino (formerly of The Temptations). New Bedford can groove for sure led by Santos' 6 piece featuring deep funky sound and vocals to get you moving.
915pm: Next is New England based Brian Thomas and the BTALC All Stars, featuring Melissa Bolling. Boston based trombonist Brian Thomas has been a crusader for funk, jazz, soul & reggae music in New England and beyond for over 20 years delivering positive music for your mind and body that keeps your head bobbing and and your soul full. Melissa Bolling forms her own unique performance where she effortlessly merges soul, jazz and R&B styles. Joining Brian and Melissa will be Ken Clark on Hammond Organ, Steve Fell on guitar and Dave Fox on drums.
We will have a dance floor by the stage, and tons of open seating at the back of the house if you want to take a load off during the action. A full bar and snacks for sale!
